Patrolling, Reporting, Supporting
Porirua Pasifika Community Patrols (PPCP) are made up of volunteers who desire to keep Porirua City a safe place to live for all communities and whānau. Our mission is to patrol the streets, report suspicious activities to the authorities, and act as additional eyes and ears for law enforcement. We help deter crime, increase public awareness, support safety of our community and participate in various community projects.
Join us to be a Patroller
Being a member of a community patrol will enable you to create relationships throughout our local community and provide you with skills on how to keep our communities and streets safe, through working with police.
As a patroller, a uniform and full training is provided, and you will buddy up with an experienced patroller who will mentor you whilst you learn about your new role.
Patrollers always patrol in pairs using our branded patrol car.
